Nina G discovered her love of stand-up comedy when she was a young girl buying Steve Martin albums and naming her favorite stuffed animal after Gilda Radner. Recently she teamed up with fellow comedy lover and friend OJ Patterson to write Bay Area Stand-Up Comedy: A Humorous History. The book is the first of its kind documenting over 100 years of comedy in the San Francisco Bay Area. ​
